How do I leave a comment on a VoiceThread?
You can leave a comment on a VoiceThread from the Create screen, or while viewing the VoiceThread.
Accessing the commenting screen
From the Create screen: Tap the Comment button below your slides on the Create page. Please note that you will not see the Comment button until you have added at least one piece of media to your VoiceThread.
From an open VoiceThread: Tap the comment icon in the lower-right corner of the screen. You may have to tap once on the screen to make the controls appear.
Making your comment
After you've accessed the commenting screen from either of the locations above, you'll have the choice to make a text, voice, or video comment.
Text comments
Begin typing. Click the Save button when you're done.
Voice comments
Begin speaking after the countdown finishes. You can navigate through your slide as you speak by using the arrows at the bottom corners of the screen. You can also doodle directly on the slide.
Click the red flashing button at the bottom of the screen to stop recording. The comment will play back immediately. Click Save to save the comment, or click Cancel if you're not satisfied and want to discard the comment.
Video comments
Begin speaking after the countdown finishes. You can navigate through your slide as you speak by using the arrows at the bottom corners of the screen. You can also doodle directly on the slide.
Click the red flashing button at the bottom of the screen to stop recording. The video will then need to process. This may take anywhere from a few seconds to more than a minute depending on the length of the comment.
Once it's done processing, the comment will play back. Click Save to save the comment, or click Cancel if you're not satisfied and want to discard the comment.
Tip: While viewing a video comment, pinch diagonal corners of the video open or closed to make it larger or smaller.
